This calculator uses a straightforward but powerful formula to estimate your welding cobot’s return on investment (ROI). First, it calculates your weekly savings by multiplying the number of hours a cobot saves each week by your average labor rate, then adds any extra revenue it helps you generate. From there, it multiplies that number by 52 to get annual savings. The payback period is simply the total system cost divided by your weekly savings. Finally, the 1-year ROI percentage is calculated by subtracting the cost from annual savings, then dividing by the cost to show your return.
